ROWENA KO

Rowena is currently the Innovation Lead and Co-Champion for Women at Global Affairs Canada’s Ontario Regional Office in Toronto. Previously, Rowena served as Head of Innovation at the Embassy of Canada to Japan. She has also worked on trade policy and FTA negotiations, as well as served as senior bilateral trade relations officer for South Korea and Japan. Rowena holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Dalhousie University, and a BA in Japanese Studies from De La Salle University. Passionate about advancing Canada’s interests to the world, Rowena hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and speaks six languages fluently.
